Anyone remember what JC Whitney was called before it was JC Whitney?

I found an old JC Whitney catalog, from about 1970, and it had all the same crap they have now, the prices were just lower.

I can remember pouring over the JC Whitney catalog as a kid, circling all the cool stuff I wanted. Fortunately, my father prevented me from ordering most of it.
