Or a lack of legislation. the trade imbalance is out of control. always has been. tax import cars like they tax our cars when we try to import them the their countries and things would have been mcuh different the last 35 years. back in the 70s It would have cost around 30,000 bucks to buy a pinto if you lived in Japan. nothing has changed
