A roll over valve keeps the contents in the tank in a roll situation, assuming the tank is not damaged. I would believe without question that they contribute to safety. But where do you draw the line on safety upgrades. Think of the condition the PW Cab would be in after a roll. Think of the non telescoping steering column, pining you to the seat. PW's were not designed to meet the safety standards we enjoy today.
