First of all, a BIG THANKS to all who responed to my post inquiring about the 2001 Dodge pickups.
The information and opinions are greatly appreciated. I have not made my purchase yet. I have been hung up
on the fact that Dodge does not produce a true Crew Cab. I use the rear seat area more for STUFF than passengers.
While doing some more research last night, I came across a 91 Dodge diesel pickup for sale. This one has a sleeper box behind the
cab. I thought of this idea several weeks back when I learned that there are no new Dodge crew cabs.
I have a phone call into the seller and try to find out who makes such a sleeper for pickups.
Does anyone know of a company that makes sleeper units or big boxes for pickups????
I was thinking that the bottom section of the sleeper could have long shelves on glides that could hold my STUFF, (tools).
I am going to inquire about getting a cab/chasis, and if it is for a pickup size stake body which are 12 feet long, I could have a box/sleeper
in between the cab and pick up bed.
I thank you in advance for the info and I will continue research it as well.
Mark
-If anyone is interested in that 91 dodge check www.classicalgasstation.com.
-Back in the late seventies, I recall there was a company that made tilting fiberglass front nose pieces for Chevy and GMC pickups. This units were in the style
of Mack truck front noses. Does anyone else recall this product???
