My truck will be used for fun and a little work so restoration will not be in the near future. I drive it every couple of days and to work 2 1/2 miles once a week. I thought it would be faster over the road. 30 mph is tops. Is this normal? My projects now are the removal of a dump assy. and re-install the left side running board. Also the floorboards need work. The truck came from coastal Maine but the only rust is the floorboards. Also I will get new winch cable. One quarter is not big enough and doesn't look good! I have waited 20 years for a PW that I could afford or find. Now it will be used for hauling firewood for myself, a hunting truck but not a serious offroad rig. I am not going to beat on it. How do military tires work in snow? More later.
