I just mocked up for my new PTO in my 48' v8 conversion (71'318, NP435, 458 ratio) and it looks like it's gonna work out just fine. My supplier turned me onto it ofter looking up the price of the Chelsea 352 which most people use. It is pretty close to the same shape so no interference with the 60s hyd. bh and controller appears more like the original PTOs on these trucks hence, pretty sure I'll be able to use a lever to operate instead of the cable that I didn't really want.
Price of Chelsea 352: $1300.00
Muncie bidirectional, RG6D-N8113_C1BX : $730.00
140LBS./ft.
max speed 2500 RPM
Also ended up with a 79' flywheel which I'll have to machine a spacer for and sweat on the correct ring gear. You would think that there would be a ton of mid sixties flywheels laying around here but apparently all those old Dodges are still running LOL.
