My father in law was charles mahoney,he passed on may 20 05 >his intrest and passion was restoring indian motor cycles,for most of his adult life>he was legend better known as iron chief charlie,he freuquently attended the rallys at spring field mass and bike week at daytona beach>he always captured the longest distance, oldest rider and peoples choice trophys.he was a very modest man and of modest means> i could not tell how many bikes he restored, but there were many >i know that a indian 4 is worth big money but charlie never made big money its just what he did with a passion >very similar to a die hard power wagon man, how could you put a price on some thing that you with your hands, patiently brought back to life!charlies shop was a living forum and his cronnies gathered daily just as p w people gather on this forum>this july will be the ,25th indian rally in our small town >this event draws people from around the globe and bikes from across north america>charlie was rich, not with money from bike sales ,quite the opposite ,he was rich in knowledge, experince, and many great friends and followers ,his legend lives on J
