I just got back from mocking up the flywheel. I made up some .400 spacers and put behind the flywheel to make sure everything bolted up. It appears input shaft /clutch will work fine, but I have ran into the starter issue. the 360 starter is 9 toot and the 318 is 10 tooth. I have to use the 3 bolt off the 318 because of the bellhousing. It tries to crank it over but binds up. I did a quick measurement on the flywheel and I don't look like I can swap the ring gear????? Is there a ring gear I can get and put on the 360 flywheel? Or do I need a whole new flywheel/ringgear??
