Ken, I've had one in a Cummins...they're awesome! They do grab but they just take getting used to like anything else.
Then I had to upgrade to an even stronger one & I went with a Southbend FE...now that one was real grabby.
If you're not making huge hp there's no need for it but if you have a big HP engine...grabby is better than the alternative.
A real beautiful clutch if you have a Cummins with less than about 800ft/lbs of torque is a Southbend Con OFE. It's ferric on one side & organic on the other. Real smooth...nice light pedal but WAY stronger than stock.
