Two of the Cummins I bought had Low Oil Pressure shut down. There was a oil pressure switch screwed into the main oil rifle. When Oil Pressure was up to normal, the switch would close. This switch was wired in series with the 12 volts going to the fuel shut off solenoid. There was a start button that just jumped the oil pressure switch to establish 12 volts to the fuel solenoid until Oil Pressure was normal. If oil pressure went low, the switch would open and break the circuit to the fuel shut off solenoid which would then close and shut down the engine.
