Well I hope you got a kiss with that deal instead of just assuming the position. I just had my rear main seal replaced on my 3208 which turned out to be a gasket. They did the rear main while the tranny was out as well. This takes a special driver to install the rear seal. The bill was $1154 which was cheaper than the Cat dealers price of $2200. I don't have this low pressure overide but I do have a gauge that always shows at least 60 lbs oil pressure. I wouldn't drop in the Bar's leak since it's only a band aid on a hemorrage plus it may clog the heater core. Sorry you got the short end of the stick but I have my doubts that you'll get any satifaction from the seller since they already lied about the condition. I stand by my original opinion of 3208 Cat's, they're JUNK.
