Paul in NY, for accurately diagnosing clogged pick-up tube! Makes sense, since I had checked everything downstream from the tank. The pick-up tube was clogged with a big chunk of the blue silicone I used at the sending unit.

Now, I need to address the carb icing and the voltage regulator that is making a loud clacking sound.
