Until Paul works out a good 6 and 12 volt replacement, one can use one of the old 6 or 12 volt Trico electric override vacuum motors. These boost vacuum to the OEM wiper motors when manifold vacuum drops. Vacuum drops, points close, and electric motor begins turning a vacuum pump. They have that “period correct” look too. These are not plentiful, but not much harder to locate than the old optional electric wiper motors.
