Denise and I made the trip to Wendell the weekend before Digger passed - we wouldn't have missed that opportunity for all the gold on this planet to say good bye to a true friend. If you followed Digger on the trail, he could get you in a lot of trouble, but Digger would always get you out of any jam you were in. Most people are only blessed with a few true friends on their temporary journey on this Earth - Digger was one of my true friends and I miss him a lot.
