The one in the picture will not work in a PW Valance. The Motor and the output shaft are not on the same centerline. This puts the output shaft at different locations when reverse counting one motor as is required due to space limitations in the PW Valance.
Hopefully the VW Bus is like the Unimog. That one, if proper size, would work well.
