Hi Paul, Bob Jones here. I don't know if you and I spoke about this subject before but I have had good luck with stock vacuum operated wipers on my yellow truck. I have utilized the stock vacuum pump from cummins in conjunction with a vacuum tank. I have a vacuum gauge that pegs at about 22 inches. I use a vacuum operated brake booster along with the wipers and have no trouble. The gauge only flutters a few inches when the brakes are applied. I know you may be pressed for space as the vacuum pump is installed in front of the power steering pump. Just my two cents. Give me a call or send me an e-mail if you are interested in more details.
