Since your doing this inside a sealed 1 car garage, I would have the following serious concern. Dust is going to be a problem both in visibility, breathing and a potential dust explosion.
Without question a supplied air respirator would be needed. Then some exhaust to keep the air clear so you can see. You cant believe the dust. If I dont turn on the vacuum system on my blast cabinet, visibility is zero.
And I have a serious concern with a potential
dust explosion. With that much airborne dust, a source of ignition, even a static spark and BANG your dead. Please, Google and read all abhout dust explosions before you go this sealed up route.
