73 Dodge W300 4x4 -- Front Driveline & Brakes

I have a 73 Dodge Powerwagon W300 4x4. It is currently outfitted as a rollback tow truck. I am getting into doing a rehab service on the truck to make it fully safe and functional.

I have never seen this type of front outter steering knuckle setup, nor can I locate a service manual for the truck. Haynes & Chylton do not have manuals for it. I need info about servicing the front outter steering/driveliine since it is 4x4. Also, since it has front drum brakes, I would like to swap it out to disk if possible.

I have been searching the archives and found a little info, but some direct info and feedback for my situation would be helpful.
