M37 to Civ. Flat Fender?

It has been said on this forum and repeated at Fairfield that the M37 and PW are two different trucks even though they have some of the same parts.

Question: Has anybody grafted a PW cab on to a running M37 chasis? If the military chasis already has a civ. bed grafted, but the cab is garbage...Do you have to completely re-invent the wheel, or is it a matter of a few cuts and new cab mounts? Many on this forum have done just about everything else--how about this one?
