Here is a picture of the Master Cylinder. It has a 1 & 5/16 inch bore. I found that the 1 & 5/16" bore is needed with 4 wheel disks to give a good pedal with reserve. Originally, I used a 1 & 1/4" bore MC. I had good brakes but the pedal was near the floor on a hard stop.
I have never tried to mount this MC in the OEM location. In the picture, its on my Bumblebee with a Vacuum Booster. Now I use it with a Hydroboost Booster on the Cummins.
I dont see why with some fab work it could not be made to work in the OEM location.
