There's a guy who lives near me who collects and restores armored vehicles. He has well over 200 of them, mostly tanks. I have twice had the privilege of seeing his collection. I have a LOT of photos, but I post this one as a teaser...
The guy is heir to a "construction" fortune (construction as in the SF Bay Bridge, the Grand Culee Dam, etc). He has, last I heard, 9 full-time mechanics/restorers on staff.
