John, my thoughts and prayers to you, You might think this strange, but another Dodger I know also lost his foot to diabetes. Just when he thought he might lose his other foot his doctor put him on V-iagra, it improves circulation throughout the ENTIRE body, not just in that one place and his foot was saved. I'm not trying to give you false hope, but it sure is worth checking into.
