Good objective write up about Progressive's Peter Lewis at the link. He blew a lot of money in '04 trying to keep President Bush from getting re-elected - I guess we know how well that worked out.
This guy gives away tons of money. Usually with strings attached. I heard Progressive has good policies for inexperienced drivers, that's drivers with less than 6 years driving in Mass. I shell out $$$ for my two girls, who have great driving records, and no accidents. I'm just looking for a break from the ridiculous premiums we get charged for the kids.
