Dodge Power Wagons were used extensively during the fifties and sixties by military and civilian authorities in both countries.
I remember crossing a river in Central India in one and breaking a leaf spring.On a recent visit they seem to have vanished - obviously petrol consumption and the introduction of diesel vehicles made it difficult for their survival.
