I used to haul water to my country place out of Green River, WY in my previous '49 Power Wagon in a 450 gallon tank. The weight of the water was about 4000 #. I did that for several years with no problems.
I also used that '49 Power Wagon to haul another '48 Power Wagon from Patrick Draw, WY to Rock Springs, WY on a flatbed trailer. The '48 had a huge shop built snow plow on it that weighed nearly 1000#, plus the weight of the Power Wagon and trailer, put the total well over 10,000#.
The biggest load, by size not weight, was again pulled by my '49 Power Wagon. This was a chemical tank that I purchased from the mine where I worked. I had to buy an oversize load permit to move it on my flatbed trailer. The tank was 12 feet in diameter and 20 feet tall.
