Yeah, I learned a lot that day. It cost me over a hundred dollars for the overweight, plus the upgrade of my plates to carry a heavier load. This taught me that they really didn't care if my truck would handle the load or not (it can), but that I hadn't paid the extra few bucks for the privilege of doing it. You gotta love bureaucracy. ;-)
