My point was that the oil companies have no interest in this, the retailers are the ones setting up their pumps in this method.
If the pump has to be manipulated to get all of your purchase out, the state should be informed or th econsumer should be taught ( as you did) how to correctly disperse.
My bigger gripe is why are fuel costs always in odd numbers and what's with the uncounted 1/10th of a penny?
That's the real rounding up....= )
