Dave,
I dont know about the rear pulley, but I will tell you of a modification I did on my Dennan. The kit includes a universal joint that mounts the overdrive directly to the back of the transfer case. As it is a single u-joint, the OD must be installed PERFECTLY in line with the transfer case. Otherwise the joint will wear out in a hurry. Assuming you get it installed perfectly sitting in your shop, the relationship will change as the truck moves, twists, flexes etc. I got 2 more M-37 flanges and bolted them back to back and added a second u-joint, in effect making a very short driveshaft. I realised quickly that I needed to add additional support to prevent twisting but once that was done it ha worked flawlessly. I would strongly reccomend installing it this way.
