Its brutal cold here also and standing by for heavy snow tonight thru tomorrow night.
SUV, Tailgates are thin. The motors for wipers have to be likewise. We know these tailgate wiper systems will really clear snow. The only issue I see with a tail gate wiper is the degree of swing. On a typical SUV, the tail gate wiper motor is centered. The blade parks at the bottom of the window and the swing arc is about 180 degrees to the opposite side of the window. 180 degrees is way to much arc for a PW. Maybe inside the motors the arc can be changed. I know the American Bosch WWF style can be varied in degree arc from 87 degrees to 120 degrees.
The search goes on LOL
