Real simple and easy with existing tools.
I use a 3/8" fine thread G8 Bolt, a old socket and some washers. See picture.
The bolt wants to be about 1 inch longer than the socket and the socket needs to be large enough so the pin will pull into it.
Remove the grease fitting and cross lock bolt. Thread in the 3/8" bolt and just jack out the pin. I have pulled a lot of pins this way and they all come out fast.
Yes, I 'know' the pin is 1/8" pipe thread!
Since the bolt is not a tapered thread it will screw right in and the pin is hollow accepting the length of the bolt. Also, I realize you will screw up the pipe threads in the pin. I have never seen a old spring pin that does not need replacing so it does not matter.
