But first, with the engine off, air filter off, look down the carb throat while giving it gas. You should see a squirt of gas from the drivers side of the carb.
Or maybe the leather pump cup just needed to soak up some gas before it started to work. Maybe it is working by now?
Moving the link into the hole farthest from the shaft will make it the richest. You'll need some needle nosed pliers to pull the little Jesus clip and move the link. Maybe wrapping the area with a rag will help you find the clip after you drop it and hell "Jesus, where did the darn thing go!"
