I did rebuild the unit.
As a matter of fact, I rebuilt the whole truck and this is my only leak, at least as of yesterday. :-)
It was fairly tight when I removed it but not real tight when I put it back in. It was probably leaking before the rebuild but I'm not sure.
I guess I was wondering if changing the shaft would do any good. They are only $20 and I may be able to push the old one out with the new one and not remove the unit? But, your probably right, the hole in the housing is probably messed up and I need a new unit.
