E-bay is dangerous!!
Suburban's were oringally 50's Plymouth Station Wagons, BTW: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=182914&d=1146100626
Anyway - on the more recent Suburbans and Hummers: Was at the mall and saw a new Suburban and an H2 parked side by side. The similarities in the undercarriage caught my eye ... While looking out for mall security and the owners ;^), I spent some time looking more closely at the underside of the 2 vehicles and didn't notice much difference in them at all.
What a great marketing strategy ... take a Suburban frame and driveline, put an ugly box-like shell on it and charge twice the money!!
Don't even get me started on the H3s!!
So you have bought a Hummer with a more streamlined shell ... and you have the bonus of the cool wheels!
