Missed your post on the last forum.
Can't speak to the 318 specifically, but on engine swaps I've used Ferd gas pedals from '80s trucks. They are cheap in the JYs, and use a cable mechanism which you can adapt to where ever on your truck that you need to route it. They used several different lenghts of cable on different trucks so there are different options available. I get the entire system, from the carb/FI all the way and including the brackets and pedal assy.
