I found a pair of visors off of some huge suv, about three feet long. Garage sale, $2/pr. Shaft size is good for my FFPW bases. I sawed part way through the SUV pot medal bases, and split them away from the shafts. Like splitting wood. Then ground off the rolled/hollow ends to disassemble the springs. Next was to tap the inside of the hollow ends to 1/4x28 for a bolt for re-assemble later.
But now I need the dimensions of the OE visor to cut down the swinging flap parts. Either of the cardboard flap itself if you have a bare one, or the overall if you have a finished visor.
Any ideas on any options that I can sew in? Pockets? Vanity mirror? Boot scraper? Pez dispenser?
