The only way to make the old Volvo V6 not destroy its own valve train is to always run 1 qt ATF in with the oil at all times. I worked on one with 220K on the engine and it ran very good. It had been run with 1 qt ATF since new. every other v6 volvo I have ever heard run sounded like 50 sewing machines on the verge of self destruction. you should be fine. IF you run penzoil for many many miles, the ATF it could loosen up all the parafin/sludge build up and cause a problem.
