Really neat area but definitely long trips between specific "sites" as far as trail rides go.
I almost bought property on the east side. I found a quarter section that had what I wanted but I couldn't bring myself to commit the funds. A few years later my twin daughters soaked up those funds and more. Someday perhaps...
When I've visited, the wind has usually, gloriously, lived up to the WY reputation for it.
