The same thing happened to me as Paul with the Hesrch product. I followed the instructions as well. I tried POR 15 on a different tank that did not leak but was mildly in side rusted. Two years later it leaked. Some said it was the fuel additives that caused the failure Finally went to GasTankRenu. No problems ,money well spent.
