Yes, interesting little note about the caucuses four years ago: Dennis Kucinich won Fairfield by a landslide. (He didn't do much anywhere else, obviously)
It's also home to a prominent Zen temple or teaching center.
I think this info was in one of the weekly news magazines at the time...
