I Filled the affected area with JB Weld, drilled
, retapped and newer had another problem. I didn't
have a needle seat to deal with or much of an allignment
problem.
How about retap the hole one size larger, machine
a needle seat on a new brass machine screw ? You
may not have to remove as much material from the
carb houseing as with a helicoil.
Either way, allignment with the needle seat is
a key issue.
