I see nothing wrong with modifications and upgrades. It is your truck do what you want. Personaly I can`t deal with bodywork so if I found a truck with a good body but frozen motor and broken trans I see nothing wrong with a smallblock and a sybcro 4 speed with a married 205 transfercase.Maybe put the running gear of a 70`s pw under a flatfender would be nice.I agree with history and all that.but I would not desparage someone for what they did to there truck.( putting a smallblock chevy is kinda pushing the argument however)AS far as value goes if you are into investments go with real estate or the market vehicles are usaly a liabality not an asset beacus they depreacate.Steve
