Well, I like the tall and skinny 22.5's for winter time use. They are tubeless and 38.5" tall so your road speed will increase over the 35-36" 900-16's.
But there are quite a bit more options for tires on the 16" wheels, so it's really up to you.
The only reason I have 20" wheels on the "Edison" the blue truck is because it was the easiest way to make it a dually, and have tires in the 38" tall range.
