If it were me, I would buy an oil pan gasket set (VR# OS30893) and put it back together. If you still experience a lot of oil loss, then you know your seal is bad and you're in for a lot more work which might inlude pulling the engine and rebuild it. There are two rear main seals for up-to serial number and after serial number for the T-137, so note the number and check the PIF for correct seal.
There are products you can buy to add to the engine oil to recondition hard rubber - you might try that also.
