I don't know how many on this forum were in the Navy, but I spent over 4 years in it. Been to PH 3 times, and I never failed to go to the AZ memorial-- If you don't shed a tear for all the men who gave all that day, somethings wrong with you. Every Navy ship that passes the memorial has muster and salute. I only wish this country as a whole, not just us old vets would think about all that our children are giving now in Iraq and Afganistan-- It isn't any different now than it was then for warriors, just the public.
