If you were alive then where were you when Pearl Harbor was bombed. I was 11 years old living in Los Angeles. We were in the process of moving to another house that Sunday morning. Dad moved the radio first and we spent most of the day listening to the radio reports. Six months later Dad joined the Navy as a Flight Surgeon and served 3 years. He was involved with the occupation of Okinawa and Japan. I had two uncles who served. One in the Navy Seebees and one in the Army Engineer Corps. Both served in the South Pacific and caught up with each other twice before returning home safely after Japan surrendered. Many memories.
