Hi all,
I a Mopar Enthusiast Magazine article, the zinc containing additive ZDDP has all but vanished from most engine oils.
It is similiar to eliminating lead from gasoline for emmission controls.
It appears that ZDDP is important additive to help prevent engine wear and help break in an engine.
Some oils have it such as, racing oils, diesel oils(soon to be without) and motorcycle oils.
Is anyone here familiar with this issue?
