news has it that ebay has a problem with site hijacking . This is were a crook gains control of a reputable sellers site .
Reports on the CBC radio indicate over 1000 cases and that ebay is not responding to buyers who have lost money . The report also had a police agency who could not get to ebay or a response and the CBC was unable to contact the company either.
Worth considering when you purchase a big ticket item .
Perhaps sticking to Joes site is best when buying the wreck of your dreams
