Hi Mike,
I have 2 batteries on my Power Wagon. I got a good marine battery switch. It has Bat 1, Bat 2, Both, and Off positions. Just wire to the switch and everything takes care of itself. I alternate between #1 and #2 just to give them roughly equal time on the alternator. It spins it over nice on the "Both" setting. There are other ways to do this where you dont need to switch anything to get both batteries to charge, using isolators etc. but I think you lose the ability to team then up and get both working at the same time.
