They were the same before the V8. straight 8 and Straight 6 Chyslers were the same bolt pattern on block as Dodge, Plymouth and Destoto. regardless the V8 development era of the fifties/sixties was amazing for the chrysler Corp. I read recently over on the DTA forum that teh 60s industrial/truck 361 was warrantied for 100,000 miles!! That is standing behind a design.
