As someone else said, I've seen them cut and butted together but there was also a guy who was heat bending the glass from one piece. He was running adds for awhile but haven't seen them recently in the Rod Mags. I do remember they were pricey though, imagine that ;) I can look around through some stuff if your interested. Kevin
